Kicking things off in September is Football Manager 2023 (Epic Games Store key). This is European football of course, better known as soccer in the US. The long-running series has been the go-to game for soccer fans looking to build their dream team and guide them to glory in the UEFA Champions League, and the most recent entry adds revamped scouting and recruitment meetings, more realistic AI managers to test your admin skills against, and the new Supporter Confidence system to get the fans on your side.

Moving on from sports, Ozymandias: Bronze Age Empire Sim will challenge your diplomatic skills as you engage in 4X strategy that plays out in a faster format. You’ll need to focus on strategy over tactics, as all the trademark busywork of the 4X genre has been stripped out to create a more fluid game. Alternatively, Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy is a turn-based tactical RPG with intriguing puzzles and exciting quests to experience. Featur ing a diverse cast of characters, challenging boss monsters, and a dark world caught up in an endless war, you’ll need to build a team of friends and allies to push back the dark forces of an invading army in this vibrant adventure.
