Palworld – How To Merge Pals Using The Essence Condenser

Many creatures in Palworld might appear laughably weak. However, there’s a way to strengthen them even further. Here’s our guide on how to merge Pals in Palworld.

Pal Essence Condenser – How to merge Pals in Palworld

You can merge Pals by using a device known as a Pal Essence Condenser. This is unlocked at level 14, but you do need to spend Ancient Technology Points. After unlocking the blueprint, you should be able to build the structure, which requires 20x Paldium Fragment, 20x Ingot, and 5x Ancient Civilization Parts.

You’ll need to unlock the Pal Essence Condenser.

How does the Pal Essence Condenser function

The Pal Essence Condenser allows you to select Pals of the same species to boost one of them. Here’s a quick summary:

You have to select one Pal that will be strengthened. You then need to pick four Pals that will be used as “infusion fodder.”The Pals that are used for infusion will be gone for good to empower the original one that you chose.

As you can see in the image below, we have several Lamballs. We picked one that was level 22, and we used four low-level creatures as fodder. The original Lamball gained additional HP, attack, and defense.

You’ll have to choose four that will be sacrificed to boost the capabilities of only one.

One more thing of note is that a Pal’s skills and passives will be kept. Only their stats/attributes will be increased. As such, it might be better to choose a Pal that has better passives or the lucky/shiny variants that you encounter.

This is how you infuse and merge Pals in Palworld. Since we’re already discussing how to empower creatures, you might want to know how to breed Pals and how to hatch eggs.

Wide-open expanses, unique biomes, and even stranger creatures await you in Palworld. You can learn more about the game in our guides hub.
