Samurai Riot – Nintendo Switch Review

Samurai Riot is a side-scrolling brawler set in a feudal Japan that’s on the brink of collapse. You play as one of 2 playable characters who must put an end to the chaos that has engulfed the land. The game features fast-paced action, multiple playable characters, and a unique art style.

Sukane the Ninja is a fierce warrior who has dedicated her life to the art of ninjutsu. She is a master of stealth and assassination, and has deadly precision with her blades. She is loyal to her clan and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Her skills are feared by many, and she is respected by all. She is accompanied by her kitsune, Azu.

Tsurumaru the Samurai is a fierce warrior who has sworn to protect his village from harm. He is a master of the sword and has fought in many battles. I’m using him for this review

Screenplay

The game is set in feudal Japan and features beautiful hand-painted graphics that bring the period to life. The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with plenty of opportunity for you to show off your samurai skills. You’ll need to be quick on your feet and have sharp reflexes to defeat your enemies, and the game’s challenging difficulty will keep you on your toes. The game’s stunning visuals and fast-paced gameplay will keep you hooked for hours on end.

There are also plenty of secrets to discover and collectibles to find, so you’ll want to explore every inch of the game’s world. Who knows, there might be secrets to unlock new characters.

Technical

The player controls one of two characters, each with their own unique abilities, as they battle their way through various levels. The game features a cooperative multiplayer mode. In this game, players work together to take down enemies and earn rewards. The gameplay is fast-paced and exciting, and the cooperative mechanics are definitely well-implemented.

Gameplay

As many side-scrolling brawler out there, the characters do have some special powers to perform so you can dish out as many damage to as many enemies as you can. The game is fast-paced and action-packed, with plenty of opportunities to slash and hack your way through enemies. The controls are responsive and easy to learn, and the game provides a decent challenge

Music and sound

The game has an excellent musical score that really helps to set the tone and atmosphere of the game. The music is intense and fast-paced when it needs to be, and also has more mellow and relaxing tracks that are great for when you’re exploring the game’s world. The sound effects are also top-notch, and really help to bring the game to life. Overall, the game’s audio is one of its strongest points, and helps to make it an immersive and enjoyable experience.

Consideration on DLC

DLC is a great way to add extra content to a game, especially if it is something that fans are clamoring for. For Samurai Riot, DLC could add new playable characters, stages, and game modes. It could also add new story elements and background information on the game’s universe. Whatever the case, DLC can help keep a game fresh and exciting, and it’s always great to see developers support their games after release.
